Positive Pathways Scotland

Positive Pathways Scotland offers an opportunity for family carers to receive innovative practical training to help and support their family member who is age between 5 and 18.

The free training programme focuses on understanding emotionaland behavioural challenges in children and young people with autism.

Topics include:

  • An intoduction to Positive Behaviour Support 
  • Exploring reasons for behaviours that challenge
  • Sensory differences in autism
  • Communication and understanding
  • Social stories and scripting
  • Strategies for managing difficult times
  • Wellbeing for you and your family member

The programme is delivered through training sessions, 1:1 sessions and a range of e-learning resources and tools.
